TUITION THAT FITS YOUR LEARNER

Every child learns differently.

Our tuition starts by understanding your child's current level, identifying gaps in knowledge and focusing on the areas that will make the biggest difference to their academic progress.

Whether they need targeted support, want to improve their grades or need more challenge, lessons are planned around their individual needs.

SUBJECTS

Helping a Student
Taking Notes

Before tuition begins, we want to understand:

  • Where your learner is now

  • What they're already confident with

  • Where they're finding things difficult

  • What they want to achieve

  • The level and type of support they need

  • What interests and motivates them

Their tutor then tailors sessions around those needs — making challenging subjects more accessible and engaging, while giving learners opportunities to practise, make progress and develop greater independence.

We celebrate achievements along the way, helping learners recognise what they can do and building their self-esteem, confidence and belief in their ability to succeed.

TUITION BUILT AROUND YOUR LEARNER

We don't believe every learner needs the same lesson, the same pace or the same level of support.

Some learners need more guidance to understand a new skill. Others are ready to work more independently, with their tutor there to explain, challenge and step in when needed.

GROUP MATCHING

FINDING THE RIGHT LEARNING GROUP

Interested in Focus Group tuition? You don't need to find other learners yourself.

When you register your interest, we'll ask about your learner's:

  • Subject

  • Year group

  • Current level

  • Learning needs

  • Preferred days and times

We'll use this information to match learners studying the same subject at a broadly similar level.

FOCUS GROUPS START WITH 3 LEARNERS

Our Focus Groups are designed for 3–6 learners, creating a balance of tutor-led teaching, collaborative learning and individual support.

If we have a suitable match but don't yet have three learners to form a Focus Group, your learner can start with 1:2 tuition at £125 per learner while we continue matching.

Once a suitable third learner joins, you can move to a Focus Group at £99 per learner.

You don't have to wait to get started.

cOMBINED TUITION

SUPPORT ACROSS BOTH CORE SUBJECTS — IN ONE WEEKLY SESSION

Where appropriate, we can combine 40 minutes of Maths and 40 minutes of English, or 40 minutes of Maths and 40 minutes of Physics, within the same 80-minute session.

This is ideal for learners who need regular support across two subjects without attending separate weekly sessions.

Available for 1:1 and 1:2 tuition, subject to learner needs, tutor expertise and availability.

TEACHING THAT BUILDS UNDERSTANDING

Every Rebel session is tutor-led.

Our tutors don't simply give learners a digital programme to work through. They plan individualised lessons and actively teach, explain, question, listen and adapt throughout the session.

If something isn't understood, they explain it differently.
If a learner needs more practice, they make time to practise.
If they're ready for a challenge, they push their thinking further.
If a gap is identified, they address it.

Personalised doesn't mean unstructured.

Tutors make sure key knowledge and skills are taught, gaps are identified and addressed, and important learning is revisited and reinforced.

Learners receive the support they need while developing the understanding and independence to apply their learning for themselves.

DESIGNED TO MAKE PROGRESS

Good tuition should make a difference you can see.

We look at your learner's starting point and use this to understand what they need to work on next.

Progress might include:

  • Understanding something that previously felt difficult

  • Closing gaps in knowledge or skills

  • Becoming more accurate

  • Applying learning independently

  • Tackling more challenging work

  • Improving assessment or exam performance

  • Developing greater confidence in the subject

We recognise progress along the way — not just the final grade.

Ongoing Tuition and Monthly Payments

⏱️ 80-MINUTE WEEKLY SESSIONS

Every tuition option includes one 80-minute tutor-led session each week.

The longer session gives tutors time to teach, explain, practise, check understanding and revisit learning without rushing.

Ongoing Tuition

39 TEACHING WEEKS • 11 MONTHLY PAYMENTS • AUGUST EXCLUDED

Your monthly payment stays the same throughout the teaching year, making tuition simple to budget for.

Tuition fees are calculated according to the planned teaching schedule and paid by monthly Direct Debit over 11 months of the year, with August excluded.

We require 30 days' written notice to cancel ongoing tuition. If tuition ends part-way through the academic year, we will calculate any final balance or credit based on the tuition provided, the applicable notice period and payments already made.  Your monthly fee, payment schedule and cancellation arrangements will be confirmed before tuition begins.

Fixed-Term Tuition Packages

If your child needs tuition for a specific period, such as preparation for GCSE examinations, we can arrange a fixed-term tuition package.

The total fee is calculated according to the number of scheduled sessions between the agreed start and end dates. Depending on the package, you can pay upfront or spread the cost across equal monthly instalments.

We will confirm the total package price, session schedule and payment options before you commit to tuition.
